Important Note: Multiple orders of our bulk wholesale listings to the same customer do not ship concurrently (even if they are bought and paid for separately at different times). Additional lots that are purchased are additive and extend the final delivery window accordingly.

For example, if you buy (4) 25 lb lots they will ship in the same time frame as (1) 100 lb lot at the same price per pound. There is no “doubling up” on orders to increase delivery speed, the only way to get them faster is to increase your price per pound.

CRAZY

FAST!

  • Why does price per pound determine delivery speed?
    • The short answer is that we don’t have this product in-stock. Once you complete your purchase we then go out and buy it from other sellers and have them ship it directly to you. More time means we can find better deals. (If you’re interested the long answer is below.)
  • After I order can I make changes/cancel the remainder of my order?
    • Yes, you can modify your agreement at any time. Just message us and we’ll work it out with you.

  • Will it all be genuine LEGO brand?:
    • You will receive at least the agreed upon amount of genuine LEGO pieces, but they will likely have some additional items (generic brand pieces, other toys, etc.) mixed in that will need to be sorted out.
      • These other items ARE NOT included in the LEGO weight.
    • Assume that the LEGO will need cleaning prior to use (easy cleaning instructions below).
  • If I buy at a lower price per pound will I get lesser quality pieces (aka less “rare” pieces)?:
    • We’ve found that (on average) our buyers tend to get a similar distribution of common and rare LEGO pieces in their lots no matter what price point they choose. However, here is what we have found tends to be true at the higher price points:
      • You are more likely to get a larger number of minifigures.
      • You are more likely to get partially built items.
      • You are more likely to get a lower percentage of stuff that isn’t LEGO brand mixed in.

  • Anything else?:
    • We’ve included the specifics of how this actually works below, but realistically that’s all you need to know. You will be happy with your purchase!
    • If you have any other questions just contact us and we’ll get you an answer ASAP.

Technical Details of How This Works (For Those That Need Specifics)
  • This listing is a “brokered” LEGO purchase, here’s how it works:
    • I am a LEGO broker. I have become EXTREMELY good at finding the best online LEGO listings (some from eBay but other sources as well) and buying them for the best value.
    • Once you pay for this listing, I go to work finding LEGO to fulfill your order.
      • As anyone who has ever bought online LEGO auctions can attest to, it is extremely difficult to determine what exactly you are buying – shipping shortages, knock-off pieces, and other junk are usually scattered throughout these types of lots and increase the price per pound that you have paid for the actual LEGO pieces that you have been sent. Figuring this out is what I specialize in.
      • I analyze hundreds of listings a day and evaluate every single one of them to determine the actual quantity of LEGO that they include. I subtract out estimated weights for any of the following…
        • Shipping shortages.
        • Packing material.
        • Knock-off (non-LEGO) brand pieces.
        • Junk and other types of toys.
        • Bins and boxes.
        • Bionicle and DUPLO pieces (even though these are LEGO most bulk buyers would rather not have them included).
        • Manuals.
      • …and then bid on only the portion of the lots that are actual LEGO.
    • Once I have completed the purchase of these listings I have the pieces shipped directly to you from the seller, completing your order.
      • To illustrate an example: 100 pounds of LEGO averages around 6 to 8 separate shipments to fulfill. In this case that many lots would be sent to you from multiple sellers around the country.
  • Based on the above, I guarantee that you will receive AT LEAST the number of pounds that you purchase of GENUINE LEGO pieces (and likely more).
    • Chances are there will probably be other stuff included in your lots, but this will not be included in the LEGO quantity calculated.
    • At the high end of the spectrum you might have to remove around 10%-15% of other items from these lots, but that’s a pretty high estimate.
      • This is on average across of all your lots. Some might have a bit more and most will have less, but it shouldn’t average out to be more than this.
  • If you’re receiving lots from multiple random sellers, how can you verify what you received is what they sold?:
    • I will provide you with a link to a detailed online spreadsheet with information about the lots that I have purchased for you, tracking information, and all estimates that I have used to come up with the final LEGO amount included. You will never be in the dark about what you should be receiving.
  • How long does this process take?:
    • After your payment, I get to work immediately. There are a variety of factors that go into the total order fulfillment time, but utilizing the table above should give you a pretty good idea about how long it will take to receive your order.

  • What if there’s a problem with an order that I received?:
    • I stand by my listings and methods 100%. If there any kind of issue, there are 3 steps for you to take:
      • Stop. Don’t unpack the order and put it into your stockpile. Keep it grouped right like it came to you.
      • Take several pictures of the issue.
      • Contact me (and I’ll get back to you asap).
    • From there we’ll figure it out and get the issue resolved to your satisfaction.
  • Anything else?:
    • At the end of the day this is tremendous value for your money. You would be hard-pressed to figure out a way to buy this many LEGO, for this low of price, with a guarantee, through traditional methods. You will be happy with your purchase!
    • If you have any other questions just contact me and I’ll get you an answer asap.
What to Expect
  • Quality:
    • Since these are random bulk lots, the quality may vary. LEGO is very durable, so there usually aren’t many damaged pieces, but they may be in need of cleaning (see the FAQ section below for our easy large bulk cleaning instructions).
    • Think of the quality as regular used condition.
    • Keep in mind that the lots that you receive may have other items mixed in, however you have only paid for the actual LEGO pieces that have been included.
  • Color:
    • This will be a great assortment of random colors from all types of different sets.
  • Piece Sizes:
    • There will be a large variety of small, medium, and large pieces.
    • Sometimes you will also receive baseplates, boat hulls, and other large pieces. It’s all random, but these rarer (and more expensive) pieces do frequently get included.
  • Piece Types:
    • WILL Include:
      • Mostly “general” LEGO stuff, like blocks, bricks, plates, wheels, specialty parts, etc.
    • MAY Include:
      • Minifigures and accessories.
      • Complete Sets.
      • Sealed Sets.
      • Baseplates.
      • Boat Hulls.
      • Other types of stuff that HAS NOT been included in the LEGO weight calculations (including Bionicle and DUPLO pieces).
    • WILL NOT Include:
      • N/A, the sky’s the limit.
FAQs & Notes
  • How many pieces are in a pound of LEGO?
    • Estimates vary, but we say a reasonable piece count for standard LEGO pieces is between 350 and 450 pieces per pound. However, specific types such as wheels, Bionicle, Technic, etc. may vary considerably from this amount.
  • How much space does LEGO take up?
    • The volume of standard LEGO pieces is fairly consistent:
      • About 2 pounds fits into a 1 gallon Ziploc bag, fully closed.
      • About 5 pounds fits into a USPS medium flat rate box.
      • About 8 pounds fits into a USPS large flat rate box.
      • About 100 pounds fits into three (3) 66 quart storage bins (the ones shown in the first picture of this listing).
    • However, specific types such as wheels, Bionicle, Technic, etc. may vary considerably from this amount.
  • How can I easily clean and sanitize large amounts of bulk LEGO?

    • Large Pieces:
      • We consider “large pieces” to be baseplates larger than 16 x 16 studs, boat hulls, etc.
      • We separate these from the general bulk and put them in the dishwasher with regular dishwasher detergent and a small amount of bleach.
        • The bleach is NOT recommended if you are washing them with your regular dishes!
      • DO NOT USE HEATED DRYING!
        • LEGO seems to withstand the hot water well, but the heated drying process will likely raise the temperature to the point where it will melt the plastic!
      • Using the top rack only would generally be recommended, however we’ve had good success on the bottom one as well.
      • No matter what, try a couple of test runs first before doing a lot of pieces.
        • Some dishwashers can make the water EXTREMELY hot and cause damage!
    • General Bulk Pieces:
  1. Separate the pieces if they are put together.
  2. Put them in a pillowcase.
  3. Securely close the pillowcase with a zip tie, rope, twine, etc. Make sure to leave extra room for the pieces to move around in the bag.
    1. Note: it is HIGHLY recommended to double bag this pillowcase into another one that is also securely closed to prevent a “bagtastrophy” in your washer.
  4. Wash the bag in a washing machine with hot water, bleach, and fabric softener (optional for smell).
    1. If you don’t have a couple of bags worth, washing them with a load of whites works well for balance.
    2. DO NOT use a spin cycle (it tends to rip the bags apart)!
  5. Remove the pieces from the bag and spread them out in front of a fan, flipping occasionally until dry.
  6. The pieces come out looking (and smelling) like new!
