Ever since LEGO and Star Wars partnered up in 1999 to release sets based around the original trilogy and hit stores at around the same time as the release of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars-themed sets have been some of the most popular and widely sold in the history of LEGO. They’ve also become the stuff of legend in the MOC community. To create, or not to create, that is…NOT the question. The answer is always create, alter, and expand the Star Wars universe with the endless possibilities of LEGO. Here are some incredibly fun Star Wars-themed MOCs that incorporate the beauty and rarity of green LEGO Star Wars pieces:
Jedi Starfighter
The Jedi starfighter. It can refer to several different models of starfighters in the Star Wars universe, but the classic Jedi starfighter is most frequently associated with the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light intercepteor (try saying that 10 times fast!). This iconic fighter in Star Wars is a favorite of the MOC community, and when it comes to going green, here’s a cool example from of the Jedi starfighter that is typically seen as red or blue:

The Green Lightsaber
Lightsaber colors have great significance in the Star Wars universe. From red representing evil to blue and green being used by the Jedi (not to mention Mace Windu’s signature purple), there are several colors that are important to note. The green lightsaber was used to signify a Jedi Consular before it became commonly used by many Jedi. The Force is strong with this custom-made MOC green LEGO lightsaber made of 66 individual parts (most of them green, duh) created by Froste:

The Speeder Bike Chase
MOCs are famous for small world creation as well as standalone items. When it comes to recreating the many worlds that Star Wars has taken us to, the MOC community is perfectly willing to oblige. The Speeder bike chase is an iconic and very cool scene from Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, where the Rebels are trying to outrun several Stormtroopers as a distraction. That incredible scene is brought to life here as an MOC created by ACPINLAC. Most of the forest is made up of lush green vine and floral pieces:

Yoda and Luke on Dagobah
Star Wars can’t go green without its greenest character, can it? Master Yoda was first introduced in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, where Luke trains with him on the jungle planet Dagobah. Dagobah is full of trees, grass, swamps and many other remarkably unique aspects. This world is wonderfully brought to life here in an MOC by Ruckzuck. You’ll notice that Ruckzuck makes full use of every green piece available to create the world:
